Whether our homecare or person-directed disability support services will be publically funded for you depends on your individual situation:
- Disability support services are funded by the Ministry of Health. These services are for people (generally under 65 years of age) with a long-term physical, intellectual and/or sensory impairment that will require ongoing support (for more information on eligibility refer to Am I eligible?)
- ACC funds home and personal care support services as well as some service components of Nursing and Allied Health services following an accident to support a Client’s return to independence or attain their maximum level of participation in everyday life.
- Home and Community Support Services for older persons are funded by District Health Boards throughout New Zealand. Healthcare New Zealand is a contracted service provider for the following District Health Boards:
- Northland
- Waitemata
